Served as cloud specialist and DevOps engineer responsible for operating and evolving Ruter’s AWS platform. Focus areas included CI/CD, cloud cost optimization, and automation. Delivered solutions for IaC self-service, ETL pipelines, Kubernetes cluster management, and Kafka integrations, while supporting all technical teams as part of Ruter’s central cloud competence group.
Led a large-scale cloud transformation program, migrating services and tools to AWS following the acquisition of Lookout’s consumer technology assets. Coordinated 15 parallel projects across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth integration, minimal disruption, and alignment with F-Secure’s strategic objectives.
Key contributor in a strategic initiative to enhance observability and resilience across Norway’s public-sector IT platforms. Conducted architecture and monitoring assessments, refined Dynatrace dashboards, and realigned SLIs/SLOs. Delivered actionable improvements to logging, tracing, and alerting, significantly strengthening system visibility, root cause analysis, and operational reliability.
Transitioned the client’s platform to a cloud-native architecture in Azure, deploying services like Elasticsearch and MySQL to improve performance and reliability. Migrated critical workloads from on-premises, introduced Terraform for scalable IaC, and integrated GitLab CI/CD for consistent, automated deployments.
